Eugenia Tan
Director · Senior Speech Therapist · Music Therapist
Eugenia believes the goal of intervention is to support children in becoming well-integrated individuals in their communities — at home, in school and at play. As a mother of two, she is passionate about empowering parents and caregivers, partnering closely with them to build confidence in supporting their children’s development.
Awarded a National Council of Social Service scholarship in 2004, she trained at La Trobe University, graduating with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), and holds a Master of Music Therapy from the University of Queensland. She has worked in early-intervention centres, clinics and both special and mainstream schools in Singapore and Australia, and is experienced with developmental conditions such as ASD and Global Developmental Delay, as well as language, literacy and fluency disorders.
Eugenia has a strong interest in clinical supervision — she was previously a clinical educator at the University of Queensland Communication Clinic, and in 2015 published an article in Music Therapy Perspectives on using song as a cue for expressive language development.
