Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists (OTs) support children in engaging in "occupations" that are meaningful to them (eg: making friends, learning in school and executing daily self-care tasks) and support children in overcoming any challenges they face in their daily lives. OTs collaborate with parents, caregiver and schools by helping them understand their child's needs and equipping them with strategies on how to best support their development in various environments (Home, School, Playground etc)
