Danielle is a registered Educational Psychologist with more than a decade of experience, where she has specialist experience in diagnosing children and adolescents with a range of neurodevelopmental difficulties such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Intellectual Disability

  • Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia and Dyscalculia)

 

Danielle has specialist knowledge of Dyslexia, where she has given awareness talks regarding the identification of Dyslexia and she has trained preschool teachers and medical students in identifying the key signs of learning disorders. Additionally, Danielle has been supervising psychologists in learning assessments and report writing.

 

Danielle has worked in various settings in both Singapore and Australia. She has worked in hospitals, schools, a community mental health team, a social service organisation and a private therapy centre.  

Danielle is familiar with conducting mental health assessments to assess for mood, anxiety, behavioural or social difficulties. From her experience in working closely with psychiatrists, Danielle is trained in the biopsychosocial case formulations and recommending relevant treatment plans. She has also coordinated care with a range of agencies such as schools, hospitals and family service centres to identify various ways to support the individual.

Danielle believes in the importance of analysing and identifying ways to support an individual through their difficulties and working with the systems surrounding the individual to encourage change. She is able to translate assessment knowledge to inform treatments, and she does both individual and group therapy. Danielle has been trained in the following therapy methods:
