Cherie Choo is a dedicated occupational therapist with over ten years of experience, primarily in mental health. She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from New York University and is a fully registered member of the Allied Health Professions Council.
With a decade spent working in a government hospital, where she specialized in mental health and supported patients with complex and challenging needs, Cherie has expanded her practice to pediatric settings. She has extensive experience working with individuals facing challenges such as anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, and other emotional difficulties. As a mother of twin infants, she has a personal understanding of early childhood development and the joys and challenges that come with it. This experience deepens her commitment to helping children build essential skills through play-based, child-centered therapeutic interventions.
Cherie believes that children’s mental wellness is just as important as their physical development. She is passionate about fostering an environment that supports their emotional well-being, building a foundation for resilience and healthy social skills. Working closely with families, teachers, and caregivers, she creates personalized strategies that empower children to navigate their developmental journeys with confidence. With her extensive background in mental health, Cherie is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps children thrive in all aspects of their lives.
